I am looking for a suggestion for an amplifier for this sub-woofer. I have a Sony STR-K990 5.1 system but my new place doesn’t have room for the sub-woofer. I thought that an in wall sub would be perfect but I dont know how to power it. I dont have very much money for this project so something low cost would be great. I dont think I will be able to upgrade my system for awhile so Im ok with something that will work with what I have now. Also I have small children so it would be good if the amp wasnt so overpowered that it would destroy the sub if one of my kids accidentally got a hold of the volume control. Thanks for your suggestions.
The PDIWS10 can be powered by a PAMP1000 bridgeable amplifier and it should be equally matched enough not to ever damage your woofer.
Which side of the speaker do I terminate to if I only have 1 speaker wire running from the pre-amp?
It doesn’t matter which side.

No it is not wireless.
Does it have connections for both left and right channel connections?
This is for a single channel amp only
How to wire this subwoofer having two sets of speaker inputs?
Connect the two coils in parallel
How can I make the grill a little tighter and not loose?
You can use the sticker in a small bag (see picture below) to make the grill tighter by adding it to the surround of the frame (the red circled part)
