How do you install it onto a computer because it is not detected on my computer
microphones do not need to be detected by your computer. They are straight wired and do not need drivers installed to operate. This microphone has a 1/4 mono plug and you are probably trying to adapt it to a stereo 3.55mm jack. It will require a very special adapter.
Works great as a talkback mic for recording sessions connected directly to a powered-speaker.Im wondering three things:1: is the output from the table-base balanced on pins 2 & 3 with the shield on pin 1?2: without the battery-powered base can the mic be used with phantom power?3: will standard 48v phantom power damage the mic and gooseneck when used without the switched base.
That should be the proper wiring. But it is not designed to be operated on phantom power especially 48V.

What type of connection is the bottom of the mic and at the back of the base?
If the connector on the bottom of the mic is the same as what’s on the back of the base then that is a Male XLR.
