Is there a way to plug the headphones up to the microphone of this item?
Headphone needs to be plugged into the Computer.
Will one microphone suffice or will I need one for each speaker if I do interviews across a standard size kitchen table?
If you are looking for accurate audio response It is better to use an individual microphone per speaker.
Why does the mic is not being recognized by windows?
Check the audio settings to activate the microphone.
How can I connect this to my windows 7 computer?
We are not able to test this using that OS the system might not be able to detect it or it may not be compatible with it but we recommend a higher OS version which is Windows 10.
Can I use a pre-amp to add gain to my mic?
I don’t think there is a USB mic preamp to increase the mic gain
Is this stereo for 2 channel microphone?
No it is for single-channel only.
How do I work with a Mac
PDMIKT120 is plug-and-play automatically. If you cannot use your mac computer automatically you could choose the USB mic as the used mic.
