Does the line level be input or it must come from headphones out?
Headphone outputs” are line level but are TRS “stereo” outputs. Normally “line level” outputs from mixers are mono with left & right being separate mono outs. If you use one of those you will probably only hear one earphone working left or right but not both. Even if the line out is TRS it is still a mono output or what is referred to as a balanced output but still mono not stereo. The input on the headphone mixer is for stereo input only.
