The mixer does not play any sounds when I use the USB and Bluetooth functions.
Mixers are primarily used to merge two or more audio signals to produce one or more output signals and normally do not have built-in capability to produce sounds on its own. Mixers would require being connected to an audio output device such as speakers to be able to function even when using the bluetooth and USB features.
Can I use this for a Podcast?
The is an audio interface so yes you can use it for podcast.
Why is it that the mic isn’t detecting any voice?
You have to make sure what type of microphone you are using if it is a Dynamic Microphone or a Condenser microphone. Then you will need a Phantom power for condenser microphones.
Are the channels independently inputted to the computer? Will channel 1 show up as a dedicated track in the DAW?
All PMXU mixers are two-channel output only. No stereo track only.
What daws is comparable with studio one?
Audacity. not sure if it will run on studio one.
How can I get it into my pc to use with studio one?
Connect the USB to the computer then on your PC look for settings then go-to audio settings look for Pyle as an internal sound card and select or activate. Check if Pyle is sync with the DAW
How do I connect my powered speakers to my 8 channel Pyle mixer?
From the mixers Main output you can connect this item to the Line IN or AUX-in of the active speaker
What can I do to allow me to listen to the complete mix through headphones including Bluetooth sounds?
Bluetooth signal does not pass through the Mix it goes directly to the Main out. to have the music to be included on the mix you have to use Channels 5& 6 or 7& 8 and use a 3.5 to 1/4″ Cable.
