Short yellow wire goes to VID2 or Optional video. Its for other devices that requires video input ex.game consoles dvd players etc.

I would like to know if there is a way to not have the No Signal message on the screen when I am driving?
When you start your car we want to make sure the screen is in the off position. Now when you shift into reverse the screen will Power-on then the moment you shift out of reverse it will return to the off position

Is it possible to request or purchase just the monitor of the unit.
Any 12 volt DC monitor with an RCA video input would work on this unit.
Can I attach an additional camera on the front of my unit?
Yes you can as long as you are using a front-facing camera. You will have an option to change the settings to have the front-facing camera show the correct feed.
Does the screen only come on when you are backing up?
“The screen comes on when the red wire is connected to 12v and the black wire is connected to ground. In this scenario with the screen powered on and nothing connected all you will get is a blue screen but connect the included camera to the video input on the screen and supply 12v to the camera and the blue screen will disappear and be replaced with the video from the camera.
Power both camera and screen from the same source and they will turn on and off together (this way you will never get a blue screen). Connect them to the vehicle’s backup lights and they both will turn on when the vehicle is in reverse. “

Can it be installed on a 24-volt system?

What is the use of the long video cable with a short red wire on both ends?
That is for chassis ground connection. You can disregard the wire if you’re not getting any trouble with the video connection.
Can I use the cigarette lighter adapter instead of wiring it through the fusebox?
Yes you can use the cigarette lighter adapter.
What is the use of the Remote on this unit?
It is the same controls that are on the screen.
Is there a fuse in the monitor?
Nothing has been mentioned about the fuse.
